Marquis 66 was founded in August 2002 when Michael Kinnett and Steve Jones decided to re-form the band with a vision of playing the music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The band recreates the sights and sounds of the era with vintage instruments and amplifiers. Add authentic clothes, a light show and you have a night to "relive the memories." We have sang over the years from Mt. Vernon, Newark, Zanesville, Coshocton, Columbus, Westerville, Mt. Gilead, Galion, Lexington, Nashville Tennessee, Akron, Canton, Killbuck, Danville, Howard, Utica, etc.. We have also sang at a lot of benifits for people that are in need, we have donated a lot of time into this, its hard to just remember how many places we have been and have sang, over the last fifteen years I suppose.
